BADFISH

The phenomenon known as Sublime, arguably the most energetic, original and uniquely eclectic band to emerge from any scene, anywhere, ended with the untimely death of lead singer, guitarist and songwriter Brad Nowell in May of 1996. But encompassing the sense of place and purpose long associated with Sublime’s music, Badfish, a Tribute to Sublime continues to channel the spirit of Sublime with a fury not felt for some time. What separates Badfish from other tribute bands is that they have replicated Sublime’s essence, developing a scene and dedicated following most commonly reserved for label-driven, mainstream acts. Badfish make their mark on the audience by playing with the spirit of Sublime. They perform not as Sublime would have, or did, but as Badfish does.

BALLYHOO!

Hailing from the east coast, Baltimore alt-rockers Ballyhoo! have been on the road, taking their melodic anthems to the people for over a decade. Their “On Tour Forever” work ethic has taken them all over the country, steadily building a fan base of loyal “Hooligans.”

The band has toured supporting well known ska-punkers Less Than Jake, Reel Big Fish, and Rock/Reggae icons Pepper, while also releasing two singles: “Fast Times” & “Mixtape.” The latter will appear on the band’s new album, “girls." slated to be released this Summer. Ballyhoo! joined forces with PledgeMusic, rallying fans to be a part of the making of this new album. The campaign was a success with well over 100% funding.

Now in 2016 with a new album of songs produced by Paul Leary (Sublime) & Matt Wallace (Maroon 5, Faith No More), Ballyhoo! is back out on the grind.

ROOTS OF CREATION

Whether on the festival circuit, performing at jam and reggae-rock favorites like Camp BiscoGathering of The VibesCalifornia RootsJungle Jam and Closer to the Sun, or sharing the stage at sold out shows with some of their diverse influences including Slightly StoopidThe Wailers, and Michael Franti, reggae/rock/dubtronica band Roots of Creation(RoC) offers up a high-energy, infectious live music experience. Their mix of reggae riddims, conscious lyrics, spirited horn lines, and electronic beats makes crowds move and has their loyal underground fan base (RoC Family) and street team (Universal Soldiers) travelling the distance to pack venues from coast-to-coast.

BUMPIN UGLIES

For nearly a decade now, Bumpin Uglies have been playing their brand of groove-heavy jams – a curiously fun mix of ska, Reggae and good ole’ punk rock – all while putting strong lyrics at the forefront of the music. It’s a formula that quickly took them from local favorites, playing around Annapolis, to a national stage. With a wildly infectious sound, tattoo-worthy lyrics and an itch to take their music to the masses, the band piled into the van years ago and have rarely seen home since.

THE ELOVATERS

Hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, original Reggae Band The Elovaters have been bringing their distinctive beach Reggae sound to fans and music lovers up throughout the United States. The group’s following has continued to grow as they introduce songs from their new record “The Cornerstone”, released on the band’s own imprint Belly Full Records. The release (titled for the band’s previous name), debuted at #5 on the ITunes Reggae charts and #9 on the Billboard Reggae Charts, while the video for one of the album’s featured tracks titled “Sunshine”  received more than 100k views on Facebook, and continues to be an anthem for youthfulness and summer fun.

MIGHTY MYSTIC

Mighty Mystic is considered as one of the leaders in the U.S. Reggae scene and revered as perhaps the best performer, singer, song writer and overall entertainer that has developed in the american market. He has gripped the scene with ferocious conviction and an uncanny ambition worthy to be mentioned among the greats. Mystic’s fresh sound and musical diversity have proved to be a magnet for music lovers in search of that next level sound that has been missing in the reggae genre. It has attracted listeners of all ages and from all walks of life.

ROOTS OF A REBELLION

Roots of A Rebellion are a jam band from Nashville, TN playing heavy Reggae-Rock-Dub music for the soul. The band is known for their dynamic live shows showing their progressive sound and energy. Having shared the stage with The Wailers, Rebelution, 311, Slightly Stoopid, moe., North Mississippi Allstars, SOJA, Nahko and Medicine for the People, and more, Roots of A Rebellion represents another side to Music City.

OF GOOD NATURE

Charlotte NC alt-rockers, Of Good Nature, have built a strong start to 2018 with quick attention to their newly released music along with a steady wave of tour dates. Three additional singles are set for release this Spring and Summer.

P-FUNK NORTH

Straight out of Dirty Jersey, the rock/reggae rude boys have shared the stage with several national touring acts including Alternative Rockers Eve6, reggae rockers Ballyhoo!, Shady Records alumni Obie Trice, and Backstreet Boys bloodline, Aaron Carter. In 2014, PFN toured to Florida and back with stops in TN, GA, NC, PA and NY. Touring continued in 2015 rocking to Chicago and back with stops in PA, OH, IN, and MI.
